The Audio Workshop is a specialist spoken word recording and production facility situated in an area of West London popular with broadcasters and publishers.
Three silently air-conditioned digital recording studios form the basis of an efficient, high quality service to producers of audio books, language courses, radio programmes, internet and multimedia sound. A further digital studio is used as an additional editing, mastering and copying room.
The largest studio accommodates up to ten actors, while the smallest is designed for long sessions of single voice recording. The Audio Workshop is the most frequently used facility for recording abridged audio books in the United Kingdom.
All four control rooms are equipped with the industry standard Pro Tools system. A large collection of digital sound effects and a production music library are available. Music commissions can be arranged.
